GL.iNet Slate 7 Pro Router

The GL.iNet Slate 7 Pro is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router and the first device of its kind to fully leverage the potential of three-band aggregation. MLO (Multi-Link Operation) technology allows you to use multiple bands and switch between them in real time, while a dedicated 6 GHz band helps you avoid congested channels. The device also features a 2.8" touchscreen, VPN speeds of up to 1100 Mb/s via WireGuard®, an integrated DPI system, two 2.5G ports, and a Multi-WAN function with automatic connection switching. As a result, it’s ideal for business travel and remote work, as well as for applications requiring high bandwidth, low latency, and advanced network security features.

Three Wi-Fi 7 bands for a fast and stable connection

The Slate 7 Pro utilizes the aggregation of three Wi-Fi 7 bands to create a high-performance connection capable of handling demanding network traffic. A dedicated 6 GHz band allows you to bypass congested channels, while MLO dynamically switches between bands to help maintain transmission stability. This solution works well in crowded areas with a high number of connections, when performing tasks that require high bandwidth, for low-latency cloud gaming, and whenever you need connection quality on par with an office environment—no matter where you are.

Everything under control on the 2.8" screen

The responsive 2.8" touchscreen lets you manage key network functions without having to launch an app. You can monitor the router’s status, share Wi-Fi, and quickly turn the VPN on and off directly on the router. The interface also lets you switch VPN providers in just a few moments, so basic settings are available immediately after booting up the router.

Fast VPN and Effective Bypassing of Network Restrictions

The Slate 7 Pro delivers VPN speeds of up to 1,100 Mbps via WireGuard® and up to 1,000 Mbps with OpenVPN-DCO, and supports over 30 popular VPN service providers. The built-in VPN traffic obfuscation feature makes it harder to detect and helps bypass network restrictions, including in hotels, public Wi-Fi networks, and environments with restrictive access policies. It can also help mitigate the effects of traffic throttling and bandwidth reduction by your Internet service provider.

Advanced Protection with DPI

The integrated Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) mechanism analyzes data in real time, providing detailed insight into traffic and facilitating network protection. It offers transparent traffic analysis, intelligent web and content filtering, optimized bandwidth management, and helps maintain stable connections during mission-critical tasks. This solution is ideal for remote teams, home use, and small businesses, as well as for virtual collaboration and tasks that generate heavy network traffic.

Two 2.5G Ports and Flexible Wired Connections

The router is equipped with two 2.5G ports, which enhance high-speed wired communication capabilities. One of them can be configured as a WAN or LAN port, allowing you to tailor the device’s operation to your current network configuration. There is also a USB Type-C 3.0 data port, which allows you to share an internet connection from another device with the router via USB-C.

Multi-WAN – Connection Continuity When You Need It Most

The Multi-WAN feature with failover allows you to use multiple Internet access sources and seamlessly switch connections if there are issues with one of them. This increases reliability during business trips and other situations where maintaining network access is critical. The solution also meets the needs of working with bandwidth-intensive content in the field, setting up a professional home lab, and working remotely.

Flexible Capabilities Thanks to OpenWrt

The Slate 7 Pro uses an OpenWrt-based SDK, which provides extensive options for customizing the network environment. Combined with tri-band Wi-Fi 7, MLO, VPN, DPI, Multi-WAN, and high-speed wired ports, it allows you to configure the router to suit various usage scenarios. As a result, it can handle both everyday internet access outside the home and more demanding environments such as remote work, collaboration, or the transmission of large amounts of data.
