GODOX RS100Bi 1K Bi-Color LED Photography Light

The GODOX RS100Bi 1K is a compact 100 W LED light that, when used with the included lens reflector, delivers a light intensity of up to 28,600 lx at a distance of 1 m. The color temperature range of 2,800–6,500 K allows you to adjust the light from warm to cool, and the brightness can be smoothly adjusted from 0.0% to 100.0%. The kit also includes the SP36K projection cap, which enables precise shaping of the light beam and expands the possibilities for creative scene lighting.

Precise Light and Natural Colors

The RS100Bi 1K offers high-quality color rendering, confirmed by average CRI values of ≥98 and TLCI values of ≥98. This makes it easier to achieve natural-looking colors when shooting portraits and products, recording videos, live streaming, and other content that requires precise lighting. The included SP36K projection attachment provides additional control over the light spot and beam, allowing you to more precisely tailor the lighting to the nature of the scene you’re shooting.

Built-in Battery and Convenient USB-C Power Supply

The built-in 4800 mAh battery allows you to use the light for approximately 52 minutes with the brightness set to 100%. The RS100Bi 1K supports USB-C charging, which allows you to power the unit while it’s in use and facilitates longer shooting sessions. Charging takes approximately 2 hours, and the USB-C port operates at 28 V / 5 A. Its lightweight design makes the light suitable for both studio and outdoor use, vlogging, live streaming, portrait photography, and mobile productions.

Convenient Control and Extensive Adjustment Options

The light can be controlled via the Godox Light app, a wired DMX connection with RDM protocol support, and NFC functionality, which simplifies pairing with a compatible device. Four brightness control curves are available: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic, allowing you to tailor the light output to a specific application. CCT, FX, HSI, RGBW, X-Y, and Gel modes are also available, providing greater flexibility in lighting configuration.

11 FX Effects and Creative Lighting

The RS100Bi 1K offers 11 preset lighting effects: Flash, Lightning, Cloudy, Broken Bulb, TV, Candle, Fire, Firework, Explosion, Welding, and SOS. These effects allow you to quickly replicate distinctive light changes without having to manually adjust the light’s parameters, which is useful when creating videos and more creative scenes. The light also uses the Godox S-Mount system, making it compatible with accessories that use this mount and allowing it to be part of a more extensive light-shaping setup.

Stable Operation and Remaining Run Time Control

The RS100Bi 1K’s design incorporates an enlarged cooling area, which helps maintain stability during operation. The unit also features a remaining runtime countdown function, allowing the user to monitor available power in real time and better plan the course of a shoot or session. Combined with its portable design, built-in battery, and the included SP36K attachment, this makes for a kit suitable for both studio and on-location work.
