BlitzWolf BW-CR2 5-in-1 Card Reader

The BlitzWolf BW-CR2 5-in-1 is a multifunctional memory card reader equipped with CFexpress Type A, SD UHS-II, and microSD UHS-II slots, as well as USB-A and USB-C ports operating at the USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s). The device connects to other devices via an integrated USB-C cable and allows for simultaneous use of multiple ports. Thanks to its support for high-speed transfer standards, it performs well when transferring RAW photos, 4K/8K footage, and other large files, particularly for photographers, videographers, and content creators.

CFexpress Type A with a PCIe 3.0 x1 interface

The CFexpress Type A slot is based on the PCIe 3.0 x1 interface and allows you to harness the potential of the 10 Gb/s USB bus, offering a transfer rate of up to approximately 1,000 MB/s. This is especially important when copying large files captured by modern cameras and camcorders, as it reduces the time needed to transfer data to a computer. The card reader thus makes it easier to incorporate CFexpress Type A cards into your daily photo and video editing workflow.

UHS-II SD and microSD

The BlitzWolf BW-CR2 also supports UHS-II SD and UHS-II microSD cards compliant with the SD 4.0 standard, for which the declared theoretical throughput is up to 312 MB/s. The dual-row contact design allows you to take full advantage of compatible UHS-II cards when reading and writing data. Thanks to its support for multiple types of storage media, a single device can replace separate card readers used for cameras, camcorders, or other devices that store data on memory cards.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 – transfer speeds up to 10 Gb/s

The USB-A and USB-C ports use the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard (10 Gb/s), providing a theoretical bandwidth approximately 20 times higher than that of USB 2.0 (480 Mb/s). You can use them to connect compatible memory cards, drives, and other data transfer devices, expanding the capabilities of your laptop or computer. The BW-CR2 supports simultaneous operation of multiple ports, making it easier to copy and organize files without constantly switching accessories.

Aluminum Construction and Versatile Use

The reader’s housing is made of an aluminum alloy, which helps dissipate heat generated during intensive data transfer, ensuring stable operation of the device. Inside, a multilayer PCB is used, and the integrated USB-C cable features a braided sleeve that complements the device’s mobile nature. The compact design allows the card reader to be used with compatible laptops, tablets, and smartphones equipped with USB-C, making the BW-CR2 ideal for both the office and field work.
