Convection heating is a method of heating where heat is transferred through the movement of air in the room. The convection process is based on the natural flow of warm and cold air, leading to even heat distribution throughout the space. A heat source, such as a convection heater, warms the air nearby. The air becomes lighter and begins to rise (the convection phenomenon). Cooler air from the surroundings then flows in to replace it, which is subsequently heated. This creates circulation: warm air moves upward, while cool air descends, where it is reheated. As a result of this movement, heat spreads throughout the room.
