GODOX RS100R LED Photography Light

The GODOX RS100R is a compact 100 W RGB COB light that offers a wide range of options for creating both classic and creative lighting. It features color temperature adjustment over a very wide range of 1,800–10,000 K, smooth brightness control from 0 to 100%, and adjustable green and magenta hues ranging from -100% to +100%. The built-in rechargeable battery provides approximately 52 minutes of runtime, and the included SP36K projection cap further expands the possibilities for shaping the light.

Full Color Control

The RS100R offers CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y, and FX modes, allowing you to precisely tailor the color and character of the light to a specific project. It’s ideal for creating colorful backdrops, portraits, product lighting, music video shoots, live broadcasts, and short video clips.

Smooth brightness control

The lamp’s brightness can be adjusted from 0–100%, allowing you to precisely tailor the light intensity to the scene. Four adjustment curves are available: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. These allow you to change how the light output increases or decreases, making it easier to achieve smooth transitions while photographing and recording.

SP36K Projection Attachment and 14 FX Effects

The included SP36K projection attachment allows you to create a more focused beam of light, achieve a spot lighting effect, and create creative projections. The RS100R also offers 14 preset FX effects: Flash, Lightning, Cloudy, Broken Bulb, TV, Candle, Fire, Firework, Explosion, Welding, Cop Car, SOS, RGB Cycle, and Party. These allow you to quickly achieve dynamic lighting changes without having to manually adjust the light’s parameters.

Convenient On-Set Control

The RS100R’s settings can be adjusted directly on the light, via Bluetooth in the Godox Light app, or using wired DMX/RDM control. The NFC feature makes it easy to quickly add the device and streamlines connection setup. The light also uses the Godox S-Mount system, allowing it to work with compatible light-shaping accessories.

Mobile Use and Simultaneous Charging

The RS100R’s body weighs approximately 921 g, making it easy to use both in the studio and on location. The USB-C port allows for recharging, and the device supports simultaneous charging and operation, so you don’t have to interrupt your shoot when the battery runs low. When the battery level drops below 5%, the output power during charging is automatically adjusted to a value close to the input power to ensure stable operation and protect the battery. A charger is not included.
