Qidi Q2 3D Printer

The Qidi Q2 3D printer is an advanced CoreXY-based device with a build volume of 270 × 270 × 256 mm, a print speed of up to 600 mm/s, and an acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s². It offers a nozzle temperature of up to 370°C and a closed, actively heated chamber up to 65°C, allowing it to work with both basic filaments like PLA and more demanding engineering materials. Automatic offset-free leveling, smart features, and a stable design mean the device is ready to use almost immediately, without lengthy setup or testing.

Accurate first layer without manual calibration

The leveling system, which uses the nozzle as a sensor, eliminates the need for manual offset adjustment and first-layer height correction. Thanks to direct contact with the build plate surface, the printer obtains a real-time measurement, resulting in greater accuracy. In practice, this means fewer errors at the start, better model adhesion, and greater print repeatability, especially for larger or more demanding projects.

Speed that actually reduces processing time

The combination of speeds up to 600 mm/s with acceleration of 20,000 mm/s² allows the printer to quickly reach full operating speed and move efficiently even with frequent changes in direction. This has a direct impact on model production time, especially for those with complex geometries. Shorter print times mean greater productivity, which is important for both hobbyist work and the production of larger quantities of parts.

Improved surface and detail quality

The new 1.5GT belt with increased tooth density improves the precision of axis movement, and the resonance control system reduces vibrations generated during operation. This minimizes wall waviness and layer visibility. As a result, prints are more uniform and details are better reproduced, which is important for visual elements and parts requiring precision.

Stable construction and long-lasting precision

The metal frame in the CoreXY design and linear guides ensure high rigidity and wear resistance. This construction minimizes mechanical play and improves the accuracy of the print head’s positioning. As a result, the printer maintains stable operating parameters even during intensive use, which translates to repeatability and reduced need for servicing.

Ready for engineering materials

The heated chamber up to 65°C maintains stable temperature conditions during printing. This is particularly important for materials such as ABS, ASA, or PC, which are sensitive to temperature changes and may warp. Better control of the printing environment enhances layer adhesion, resulting in stronger and more durable prints.

High-temperature print head and durable components

A hotend reaching up to 370°C enables printing with a wide range of filaments, including engineering materials. An improved cooling system reduces the risk of clogging, resulting in more stable operation. A bimetallic nozzle made of hardened steel increases wear resistance, which is essential when working with filaments containing fibers. A dual-drive extruder ensures even material feeding, which impacts the quality of the entire print.

Print Control and Device Protection

The built-in AI camera monitors the printing process in real time and detects "spaghetti" errors—situations where the model stops building correctly. In such cases, the printer can automatically pause operation, which minimizes material waste and prevents further issues. Additionally, the device supports filament end detection and tangling detection (using the QIDI BOX, which can be purchased separately), which protects the process from sudden interruptions.

Safe and convenient everyday operation

The integrated 3-in-1 filtration system (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, and activated carbon) reduces dust and odors generated during printing, improving comfort when working in enclosed spaces. The NFC system automatically recognizes compatible filaments and selects the appropriate settings, simplifying operation. Additionally, temperature sensors and PTC protection continuously monitor the device’s operation and cut off power if any abnormalities are detected, enhancing safety during use.
